I had similar problems with my old Epson Stylus Photo 750. They all
disappeared when I connected it directly to the Mac instead of through
my USB switch (whicch, by the way, IS powered).
Unfortunately, my problems have not gone away.
Epson suggested a new cable, but of course the printer side looke
propietory to me.
not a regular USB anyway.
I keep thinking it must be some incompatibility thing.
Does OSX have extension conflicts as in previous OS versions?
