I do have an old set of ADB keyboard/mouse too.

Hmm, I was sure they did have firmware available for their graphics
cards. Maybe I was wrong?

The reason I was wanting to use the Matrox card was cos I've no money at
present so cheaper the better at present!

Actually, my boyfriend has had it up and running with OS X and about 250
or so meg of ram and it seems responsive enough for what I plan to use
it for I think. I'll put 512mb of ram in it if i can scroung it from
somewhere mind.

Yes, Ideally I'd like a Mac Mini or a iMac of some sort. But alas I have
to rely on whatever I can get my hands on. The G3s (my boyfriend has a
MT and DT) are free to me.

The idea is to upgrade to a more modern Mac at a later time when I've
the money to do so.
