I just tried ATIcelerator. I havent done anything complicated with it.
Just installed, restarted, and opened it up. First thing I noticed
was the memory was set to 400MHz when it should have been 200MHz. Also,
as soon as I launched it, artifacts appeared everywhere. I restored
factory defaults, which set it back to 200MHz.
However, the main 3D program I use is X Plane. If I start up x plane
without ever having launched ATICelerator, it works fine. However, if I
start ATICelerator and dont even overclock the card at all, then close
it, then launch x plane, x plane freezes after trying to switch to an
external view. So, Ive found this program to be basically unusable for
me. Am I using ATIcelerator incorrectly? I dont know what this
dumping of the ROM you speak of is.

Thanks

Chris P
