Hello,
I have an emac using OS 10.3.4 and I received a cd that was made on a pc. What is the simplist way for me to be able to read it on my Mac?
Thanks

Are you trying to read data, or run a program off of the CD?

If data, all you need is a Mac compatible program to read it. ie: an Excel spread sheet, needs either Excel, Open Office, maybe Appleworks, and a few other programs.

If a program, you will need Virtual pc or another pc emulator.

What happens when you put the CD in? If the Mac says it is unreadable, the odds are the disk is damaged.

More info would help.

I put the CD in, the icon appears. I double click on the icon, two folders and a page appear. I double click on one folder, five titled pages appear. I go to file in menu and click on "open with Adobe 6.0". A window comes up saying the information is protected and I need a password. This Cd contains personal information from my lawyer so I suppose I should check with him about a password.

Yeah, this has nothing to do with Macs or PC's. This is a feature of Adobe Acrobat.
