Hi,
I have a B&W G3/350 Rev1 Yosemite running Os 9.2.2 and OSX 10.2.8. I added 2 HD's, a 160gig and a 80gig on a PCI ATA card. The original 16(?)gig HD is making strange noises and I wish to replace it with a 160gig. However, I know the Rev1's had limitations/issues with large drives. Besides, i previously attempted to install the 80gig in place of the original HD, and the system could not detect the drive. The original drive is fading fast and I must replace it ASAP. Any suggestions? Many thanks.

Sounds like you had a jumper problem with the 80G. Your B&W should be able to use any ATA HD on it's native bus up to 120G with no problems.

If you are not part of the solution, there is good money to be made in prolonging the problem.
