I suppose Xbench is OK for benchmarking, although I don't trust the video benchmarks because it will list Quartz Graphics results for cards that have no Quartz ability? If you repeat Xbench over & over without changing anything you'll get a wide variety of measurements some categories. In different versions the benchmark comparison computer has been changed several times, so the scores from different versions are only comparable by the actual "details" which show the real measured data and not the "scores" which are a percentage of the benchmark computer. Under Xbench 1.2 the benchmark is a 2.0 GHz G5 with a score of 100 down the full list; previously it was some G4's. My poor Beige has dropped from a high score near 50 to a measly 10 without changing anything, the Xbench bar just keeps getting higher.

Here are my Xbench "details" on a Beige G4/433 768 MB
PCI Radeon 9100 (8500 ROM)/GPU 250 - VRAM 250

Quartz Graphics Test:
     Line: 1.03 Klines/sec [50% alpha]
     Rectangle: 2.40 Krects/sec [50% alpha]
     Circle: 930.85 circles/sec [50% alpha]
     Bezier: 599.74 beziers/sec[50% alpha]
     Text: 1.40 Kchars/sec[50% alpha]
Open GL Graphics Test
     Spinning Squares 44.56 frames/sec

Another benchmark that might be better is in Open GL Extensions Viewer 2.21 The download seems to not be working, but you can "Connect to Server" and move it to your desktop to download. The server is:

ftp://ftp2.v3x.net/vx/pub/
The file name is:
glview221.dmg

My Open GL Test scores are:

1.1(texturing) 359 FPS
1.2(locked arrays) 362 FPS
1.3(multitexture) 307 FPS
1.4(vertex program) 289 FPS
1.5(vertex objects) 299 FPS
2.0(shading language) NA
