Same as Jim with my set-up, I've got a B&W running the latest update of Panther (10.3.9) and use ADB devices as I cannot stand the fiddly B&W keyboards, they work perfectly. I may try putting the Os on my Biege next just to see if it's do-able.

Subject: [G] ADB in Panther

I know that I can use xpostfacto to instal 10.3 on
my beige, but I am a
lazy kind of person. Just as a quick question, can I
clone my Digital
Audio's main HD (with a full 10.3.9 install on it)
using Carbon Copy
Cloner and install it in my beige? I do not use an
adb KB or mouse
(does Panther support even adb peripherals?). I know
I need to keep it
on the first 8G of the disk.

If I can do that, how easy is it to import my mail
from 10.2 into 10.3,
with both HDs attached.

Thanks,
Len

Len,
This may be irrelevant for you if you don't have ADB
stuff, but maybe for others - for the record, Panther
runs ADB peripherals, keyboards and mice at least,
just fine, all the way through 10.3.9. I have two
B&Ws running the big ol' battleship size beige
keyboards and matching mice on the one ADB socket
available on that machine (and Yikes G4s) with no
problems. I haven't asked them to run any other
ADBeasties so far though.

Jim
