My Sawtooth (new to me) doesn't have a modem. What do I do?

Buy a modem. I like US Robotics. You can probably get an internal or an external. Sawtooths had a modem as an optional part. You can get one on the swap list and just plug it right in, if you want the internal. Either way, Swap List, eBay or CompUSA will hook you up.

Actually, no, you can do none of the above, since a)the sawtooth doesn't have a serial port for an external,

Au contraire, the sawtooth has USB, you can get an external Mac USB modem. I would be probably be cheaper to come up with a replacement internal modem from the swap list though. I think they go for around $15.
