That's set in the TCP/IP prefs on the computer, not on the
Airport...at least not on my airport, which is a gray one. It's
called search domains on OS X, and needs to be set on each computer.
The subdomain name is passed to the Airport via DHCP from your ISP.
It should be automatically passed on to the client computers via
the Airport's DHCP.
Are you saying the Airport doesn't do this?
...Puzzled because the Airport software is based on IPNetRouter,
which does do it.
No I said there wasn't a way to set it in the Airport. I've never
been reliably able to get search domains from our DHCP setup, maybe I
have to examine that a little further.
