My speculation is that if you'd given your computers legal Windows
names, meaning 1-12 characters with no spaces, you'd only see one of
each. Instead, OS X has added dashes to replace the spaces you've
inadvertently left in your computer names, and thus you've got two;
one Apple name, and one Windows name adapted by OS X for you from
your Apple name? Perhaps you can rename you computers with legal
Windows names and I'd speculate there will only be one instance of
each? Just a guess.
