Open your trash folder and highlight the folder "lLVI82z2j8AfYG" and

for is under Ownership & Permissions.
Toggle the Details tab and if you are the owner and don't have Read &
Write Access you can change your permissions.
Or if you can find the folder with a "Terminal Window" you can do a
chown to 777 which will all you all privileges.
Thanks Harry,
I just went through each nested folder and made sure that they were
owned my me
and I had read & write privileges.
After selecting 'empty trash', I still get the insufficient
permissions dialog
box.
Any other suggestions?

Eric,
If your system is setup for multi-user, pull-down the quick-switch
login from the desktop, where your current login name is showing, and
select "Login Window..."
When the login window appears, select "Other" and when the window
appears to login use the user name "root" and the password is your
master password or if it isn't set then just a return.
Once you are login as the root user you will be presented with a clean
user OS. Then open the disk where your trash is located that has the
folder "lLVI82z2j8AfYG" and and open the user XXXxxx (your login where
your folder "lLVI82z2j8AfYG" is located)
Once you have opened that folder locate the folder .trash, "highlight"
the folder "lLVI82z2j8AfYG" and select move to trash. Then empty trash
while you are still logged in as "root" then select, from the Apple
Icon "Log Out..." root. You will then be presented with the login
window and select your main user login and enter your password.
When you return to your usual login your trash should be empty.
