I had a pc cd which would not mount in Panther - turned out to be in cd
rom xa format - joliet or some such - luckily I have a couple of pc's so I
was able to copy it to iso 9660 and enable it to mount on a mac. Whether
there's any third party software to enable it to mount in Panther??? - I did
a web search but came up empty handed.....
