Dennis, regarding speech on 8.1 on an All-in-one - Simple text will speak
what is highlighted, as will Appleworks 6.  Don't know if AW 6 will run on
8.1 though.  Also, in OS 9 there are speakable items so you can give the
computer verbal commands and it can talk back, but again, I haven't used 8.1
in a long time, so don't know if that feature is in it.  Good luck.
