I have been to the SF MacWorld, though not for a while. We (my parents
and I) took BART from Fremont to SF. Much easier than trying to find a
parking space in SF.
Wear good walking shoes.
It can get cool outside in SF in January - though though that is not a
concern inside the conference
I do not believe seats are reserved for anyone. I would get there early
to get good seats.
Last I remember, there was a free CD of the conference notes. That was
cool.
If they do not hand out bags, bring something to carry your stuff.
Collecting business cards and web addresses is a good idea. As I
remember, there were good deals on mac stuff at the conference.
Not sure if any of this helps, but it's my 2ยข worth.
