I have seen split vga cables but not split dvi as yet - the s-video
output requires a converter chip on the graphics card or an external
converter - on the ati cards it's the Rage theatre chip. Eternal splitters
are common - up to 8 monitors can be driven with the splitters I have used -
to display the dvi/vga monitor signal to a tv is different and usually
requires some sort of scan converter to get any kind of reasonable quality
unless the tv already has vga or dvi in ports like some large lcds or
plasmas. Zinwell manufacture some very good converters which will provide a
very good tv display and will also convert to s-video.
