I have a B&W upgraded to G4 and I bought a Hollywood bridge from ebay for $100. It allows you to convert analog video to dv and connects to your firewire port on your computer. You plug RCA audio/video etc. into the front of it. Some dv camcorders do allow analog input and then output dv through a firewire cable. There are also analog capture boards, but usually, they do not provide the quality that a dv converter does. Read your camcorder manual and see if it has analog input and dv output. If it does, that is your cheapest solution. Otherwise, I recommend the Hollywood Bridge. It has worked flawlessly for me for many hours of transfer. Tom
