I also don't have an exact answer to your question. I think you'd have
to get a better video card. 16MB Rage Pros are probably about $5 on
eBay, and 32MB Radeons are sometimes less than $20. I'd try to get at
least another 128MB RAM in there. And your processor may have some
trouble also. A 350MHz (which you can run at 375MHz on your 83MHz bus)
ZIF should cost less than $30 on eBay.
But trying the Unsupported OS X list is definitely a good idea. And if
youre interested in using this setup as a server you might also consider
Linux.
