Hi all,
On my G3 500 iMac (DV) whenever I boot the machine up, rather than
loading Panther straight in, as my two G3 400 iMacs, the 500 gives
me a text based start-up screen asking me to either enter
"mac-boot", or "shut-down".
What do I have to do, to rid myself of this hassle at boot-up? Can
anybody help, please?
Reset your NVRAM.
Use cmd-opt-o-f during boot to enter Open Firmware's command mode.
Then issue these commands:
set-defaults
reset-nvram
reset-all
