Hi,

I just bought a 512MB PC133 DIMM for our Digital Audio
but it's not seen by the G4. It's from a PC-vendor, CL-2
for VIA-chipsets.

The only other 512MB DIMMs this vendor sells are the more
expensive CL-2 for Infineon-chipsets. Would those work?

Has this anything to do with the infamous 2001
Firmware-update by Apple which disabled some faster
non-Apple DIMMs? Or do we need the even slower CL-3
DIMMs?

Any help is highly appreciated.

Jörg.
