I was trying to use a 7455 processor module from a QuickSilver in my
Sawtooth. It worked like the first boot, then I started getting harddrive
errors.
I managed to benchmark the module at 840MHz on a 120MHz bus, but that is all
the use I got out of it. So, is hard drive corruption a possible side effect
of too old firmware? Since the machine even booted, does that mean that I
don't need a firmware update? If I do need one, how would I go about doing it?

Thanks

Chris P
