Subject: [G] Guitar related downloads anyone?
From: Len Gerstel <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

My 14 year old nephew is starting to learn the guitar and just got an
iBook. I am looking for recommendations of any freely available
programs that might help him with learning. Since I am the geek uncle,
this type of request falls on me, but I have no concept of the music
portion of the request and am barely able to hold a note, even the
wrong one, on my own. So I am throwing the request out to the list.
Anyone able to direct me to some open source stuff that might help
him?
Or any free limited versions of commercial apps. (I know for example
that Maya has a personal edition that is free, you just have to put up
with a huge watermark).
Thanks in advance,
Len
