Need some help. Have a G3/300 with 9.2. Some how or other I botched up the trash icon. It is always shaded over (can't see the trash barrel) but see something that looks like a boot with closely placed dots on it. If I empty the trash the correct icon returns. As soon as I put something into the trash its usual icon is replaced with the the boot like thing. No matter what I do I can't open the trash. At present I have something in the trash I need to retrieve.
Can anyone help? I chalk this problem up to my age, Im 75 and not too swift anymore on the Mac anymore. Never was actually.
