I'd guess many models of Intel-based Macs will be ANNOUNCED but actual
delivery will be promised for 2Q06 and later in some cases. But prototypes
will be shown and demoed and there will be lots of ahhs, oohs and applause.
I believe the first Mactel to be available will be a new Mac Mini. There
are no performance pressures associated to it.
And perhaps Apple will announce a joint-venture with Intel and perhaps
others that goes beyond Mactels and motherboards.
