My G4 Yikes!, is totally wacko. About a week ago, i added a sonnet
ultra66 card it ran for a while Then the system quit working. Pulled the
ultra66 card, still no chime. Resetting the CUDA didn't work. Pulling
the PRAM bat. didn't work either.
A week passes. Just for sh**s and giggles, i plugged it up and it
worked. Well i was able to get os 9 loaded no issues, reinstalled in
ultra66 card, and flashed it with the latest firmware from sonnet. But
went i was trying to install Tiger it would boot to the CD, but about 5
secs after bringing up the blue screen, the system would power down.
So messed around with the ultra66 again, then it happened again. The
system wouldn't start, no chime, no screen, resetting the CUDA doesn't
work.....does this sound like a flaky mb?
