I may be able to get a really good deal on a dual processor Quicksilver (not sure of speed) that is mostly barebones. Could anyone speculate or speak from experience what it would do if it was run through a basic test (powered on) either without video/RAM/HD or with a PC video card and some RAM? I have been told the machine powers up and then just powers off. Does this sound like a bad motherboard or power supply, or is the machine just unhappy with the obviously (at least to me) incorrect components? I wouldn't mind buying and fixing the machine if it would be worth the trouble.

Thanks,
-Chris
