My PC speakers (powered) worked fine on my 7300, brilliantly. But not
- so far - on my QS because they seem to have the wrong plug for a
start... and someone on this list (maybe) said one needs digital
speakers whereas the ones I have are not... and I should get those
kardomy things... I need to attend to this issue and this post
reminds me. Perhaps this info might be some sort of caveat to the OP?

My G4 QuickSilver 733 feeds a regular, not digital, external speaker
system.

But the plug must be different to that that goes into a regular PC at least, no?

I will try to get an adaptor and try again in the external speaker hole at the back. I am sure I tried them in the headset hole (for some reason it went into that one but the volume and timer was low and hollow...)
