Subject: [G] Video and OS X

I have been wondering in all this excitment on the
Super bowl that you are unable to play most Video
clips in OS X, as compared to a PC. Is there a
workaround or particular web sites that allow you to
play video clips for news and sports. I have, for the
most part, gotten away from Mac's since the transition
from classic to OS X, though I still have maintained
having at least one Mac around, and recently purchased
a G4 to run Tiger. But this apparent lack becomes
obvious. Any suggestion appreceated.
What clips are they? If they are RealMedia, get realplayer for osx. If they are windozemedia, get: Either windoze media player (buggy stuff) or a plug-in for quick time (Flip4Mac) that plays ordinary winmedia files quite nice. Might be payware for streaming video. Any other format: VLC player. Havent run across a media file i could not play on my g4 pb after i got vlc player.
Good luck! :o)
