Have you tested the memory for an incompatible ram stick as that is
what has been wrong every time i have moved the mac i have up an os
as OSX is picky.

Easier and better to just replace the MB, numerous other
engineering changes coincided with the Rev2 release.
Cheaper and easier to use a PCI ATA controller.
