1) Corrupted energy saver prefs. Delete and recreate
2) Messed up PRAM. Reboot and Zap.
3) Something running, keeping it from sleeping. Do you have file
sharing on? Web server? Printersharing? iTunes sharing?
I don't know if those services will keep it from sleeping, but they
might.
