Sorry Stephen, but the book published by KOK Pharos in 1993 was apparently
withdrawn from the market between 12/94 and 12/04 acc. to the today
telephone call with Peeters Publishers, Leuven. However, I've ordered a test
copy, simply to check if they are actually capable to deliver the book with
the old 1993er ISBN at a prize of 1993. If they are - well done! Thanks in
any case for the link, Stephen.

However, I fear that Steve Mason's belligerent (and already somewhat
outdated) article on Orion is hardly a good starting basis for objective
criticism on Bergmeier. If possible, one should rather pick up the thread
with J. Frey's more jovial evaluation in his article: On the historical
analysis of the ancient Essene reports, pp.23-56 in: J. Frey and H.
Stegemann (Ed.)_Qumran kontrovers_Beitrge zur den Textfunden vom Toten
Meer, Bonifatius, Paderborn 2003.

tot ziens,
_Dierk
