hey,

Trying to fix an external firewire drive for someone. The firewire
port looks like it has gum in it. Maybe bubblegum. (he's got young
children) Been trying to dig it out, but it's slow going.

Any ideas how to make this stuff not or less sticky, so it will come
out easier/better? Is there something that dissolves gum, that won't
damage the electronics?

Thx,
- Dan.
