What machine again? Which drive CD or DVD. Tray or slot load? Did you try the paper clip in the tiny hole trick I posted before? Could the disk be jammed? Can you see the disk inside to determine if it is jammed. Can you just take the screws out of the top and pull the cover to reveal what is inside?
