That's one of the dilemmas in this decision.

Computer is Titanium/Mercury (2001), many parts similar to iBook of  
later that year. The MODEL tends to run hot.
But, I am uncertain if the heat has caused any problems. (Problem  
that was thought to be heat-related was isolated to something else.)
