I'm learning my way around OS 10.3.9 on a G4 sawtooth.
It came working OK with a single Maxtor 30GB drive
and I screwed up the system as I tried out various things.

I picked up a similar drive,__ drive B,-- got its contents corectly
updated and
working. and for the moment it's sitting in the second bay and operating
as an independent hard drive should.

I initialized the orig drive -drive A still sitting in the main drive
position -- did my thing to get both OS 9.2 and 10.39 in place -- but it's
not yet working properly.

I havn't made up my mind wether to keep A and B working separately.
perhaps wih A perhaps operating only on OS 9.2 , or whether to combine A
and B as master/slave with appropriate jumper settings. So what might
those settings be ? I know that I can get hold of a 120GB drive or even
bigger, but I havn't got total mastery of how to get a single drive going
with the update disks I have around beginning with OS 8 and OS 9.1 etc.
(Point being that I don't own a straight install CD for the G4)
