There are any number of utilities that let you attempt to
recover accidentally deleted files. The amount of success
depends on how much the machine has been used since the
deletion. If the volume is rather full you run the risk
of overwriting the disk portion that contained the file.

Don't use the machine until you have made the attempt to
recover.

One utility that comes to mind is "Data Rescue II."
