If you really wanted to experiment, you might take a look at the  
OrangeMicro OrangePC PCI cards. There is on currently on ebay and  
they show there up regularly. They were a self contained unit, with  
processor, RAM slots, video, etc, that allowed to to run Windows 95,  
NT or 98 on a Mac. I still have one in my 9600 running Windows 98.  
The last "known" machine they worked in was the G3B&W units. I  
suppose you could figure out how to swap the processor and bios.  
However, I don't know what you would do about getting it to boot in  
OS 9. The Orange cards came with special software that allowed you to  
configure the card, install software, and ultimately boot into it.
