Why not just use SheepShaver and do it in emulation?

<http://gwenole.beauchesne.info//en/projects/sheepshaver>

I went a-scrounging and did find this :

<http://www.embeddedplanet.com/products/ep8248.asp>

which is a PPC single-board computer on a PCI card.

But it's not a Mac logic board and it WILL NOT run OS 9 natively. It
will run Linux, so, again, you're restricted to using SheepShaver
(which supports up to OS 9.0.4), and you Mac Pro will run SS faster
than a native G4.

Just use SS in the first place on the Mac Pro.
