The diagram is mostly correct.

There is are spring clips in the center of each panel which need to  
be released.

There was a provision for a screw in the center of the panel, but it  
apparently wasn't used.

With the G4s, there are lots of variations of the mobo door and its  
closing latch.

Earlier models are pretty plain.

The later models added metal pads for cooling the LSI on the under  
side of the mobo, and on the last, a power conductor.

In a sense, the door on the last performed a variety of cosmetic,  
power and cooling functions.

The B&W closing latch is more general in that it can be easily  
modified to replace a Graphite or Silver latch.
