I don't care how sloppy Apple's phone tech support has gotten (and they've gotten sloppy...I've heard many reports of 'Well re-install OS X' to fix problems...the problem with that is that there are a LOT of problems that a re-install is not necessary for or will not fix.) they're not that bad.
