Still couldn't access Logs.

Went on and disconnected them, although they were all Off.

Didn't have to ... see below.

Thanks for the story ... I never could get a Sonnet G4/800 to work in
my PM 9500 ... so I sent it back twice a few years ago. Recently ...
I discovered bad 128MB RAM ... don't tell Sonnet Tech ...

Back to my QS Dual 1GHz ...

RE: RAM Testing ... Tried to run my AHT 1.2.4, but it kicked it into
Open Firmware. Maybe too many PCI cards ... maybe the ATI Radeon
9800Pro?

With Disk Utility, Verify showed no problems ... I did a Repair
Permissions, and was then able to access the Logs, although it showed
some strange problems:

Repairing permissions for “Leopard 10.5”
        Reading permissions database.
Reading the permissions database can take several minutes.

Warning: SUID file "System/Library/CoreServices/Finder.app/Contents/
Resources/OwnerGroupTool" has been modified and will not be repaired.
Group differs on "private/etc/cups", should be 0, group is 26.
Permissions differ on "private/var/spool/cups/cache/rss", should be
drwxr-xr-x , they are drwxrwxr-x .

Permissions repair complete

On Restart, I was able to cmd-V with my Apple KB attached, and it
showed, among others, 2 things:

1) I have 2 references to my M-A-S-Mac computer on my modem
connection 192.168.1.1
2) CUPS was causing some kind of problem.

I decided to remove my HP Printer software, since when my partner
moved out, he took his All-In-One C5180 with him ...

Believed that solved some of my problem(s). In addition to my upper
right thorax pains being less frequent, my QS Dual seems to be
starting up in 9 circles of its bellybutton in lieu of 54 ... and not
much blue screen at all ... straight to the Desktop.

Now ... any suggestions on getting rid of the 2nd reference to my QS
called M-A-S-Mac on my internet?

I removed all Locations in Network Setup ... turned the modem off,
and reinstated connections ... still there. On my Yikes!, when I do a
Go > Connect to Server > Browse ... "M-A-S-Mac" (my QS) shows up
twice. Also deleted all other ports on the Leopard Mac (my QS).

Where is this located?
