How do you obtain the temperature reading? Mel --- On Mon, 11/24/08, insightinmind <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: From: insightinmind <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Re: Anyone Overclocked a Yikes! Recently? To: [email protected] Date: Monday, November 24, 2008, 8:10 AM
For those interested, I'm monitoring the behavior of my oc'd system as we have to do, to determine if there are any instability issues. So far it looks good. Just a brief note on temperature - since that is a major consideration in over clocking. Early this morning, a Cold Boot in my house where it was a cold 60°F, when first on, XLR8 MSC measured the lowest yet of 20°C. It's now back up to 28°C. Still curious if anyone has info on thermal monitoring of the "PowerPC G4 7400 (Max) v2.6" cpu. Google'ing was somewhat inconclusive. I am attempting to contact Motorola for info on their PowerPC G4s.
