Sorry for the caps. Can't retype this all now.

Thanks!!!!

I CAN'T REMEMBER WHICH LIST PROVIDED ME THE ANSWER AND I CAN'T FIND THE
PERSON WITH THE WONDERFUL ADVICE EITHER.

I POSTED ABOUT how A G4 POWERBOOK just upgraded to Leopard from Panther was
NOT EVER STOPPIG WHEN LOOKING FOR A PRINTER DRIVER.

FOLLOWING ADVICE AND initial suspicions, I RECOMMENDED TO MY FRIEND/CLIENT
THAT SHE RUN THE GUTENPRINT UNINSTALLER, WHICH I FOUND ON THE
GUTENPRINT/GIMP-PRINT SITE!

It WORKED.

HP PRINTER USERS SHOULD TAKE NOTE OF THIS BECAUSE BOTH HP AD APPLE HAVE
WRITTEN DRIVERS FOR THE HP PRINTERS NOW AND THE SYSTEM MIGHT GET CONFUSED IF
BOTH remain/are INSTALLED.

**SORRY FOR YELLING. CAPS LOCK was STUCK AND I JUST NOTICED.

THANKS AGAIN, to whoever mentioned and thereby reinforced my suspicion about
uninstalling Gutenprint.

I know that Merrie gave good advice but there was another person who wrote
and I'm sorry I can't find the email at the moment.

Regards,

MIKO in Seattle
