I haven't found anything for my Quicksilver Dual 1GHz. I was hoping  
iStat or iStat Menues from iSlayer.com had something, but I believe  
its battery check is for Notebook style Macs which may have built-in  
sensors for their power batteries ... not PRAM ones.

You're lucky ... they still do here ... the ones I usually bought at  
RadioShack are made in Iraq and they doubled in price this last  
year ... sold for $21 ... I didn't realize what I had paid, until I  
had popped open the container, and then they wouldn't take it back.  
RS weren't very apologetic for their pricing either ... you did good  
going somewhere else, IMHO.

OWC (macsales.com) use to sell NewerTech ones for around $6.
