Hey Bruce, If that ethernet network storage is connected to the  
Airport Extreme and then accessed with my macbook via wireless, I'm  
back to that 58mbit/s at best right? So, If i'm hearing you correctly,  
the wireless is going to slow me down to 58mbit/s no matter how the  
hard drive is plugged into the airport extreme usb, ethernet or time  
capsule (built-in) correct?

(also assuming that my network is 5.8ghz 802.11a)
