Remember, Apple recently bought-out a foundryless semi house which specialized in advanced PPC chips, presumably those being highly- integrated, and highly energy-efficient. Perhaps for a future mobile product? PPCs may be off of everyone's desktops and laptops now, but PPCs are already in darn near everything else, including servers, supercomputers, appliances and automobiles.
