That pretty much answers my question. DIMM First Aid supposedly will adjust RAM cards so that they will work after certain firmware updates.
"Many PC133" (and not "all") is probably right, because I heard that later PC133 RAM is different and could possibly cause permanent trouble when installed in machines made to work with PC100 RAM.
