I'm setting up a Gigabit Ethernet G4 with dual 450 mhz cpus and 768
mb RAM as a developer's computer for my girlfriend's son. I'm
reading that the latest version of Xcode only runs on Leopard, so I
want to know if this set up will run Leopard all right.

Elsewise, would it be a big handicap for him to use an older version
of Xcode and Panther?

I imagine it'll mostly be an educational thing for him, but I
wouldn't want it to be so slow that it's a lousy experience.

TIA

Joe
