I'm just guessing here ... Did you import the aiff music files by having them copied into the iTunes Music Library? at the same time converting them from aiff to mp3? iTunes > Preferences > General > Ask to Import CD > Import Settings etc Perhaps it is burning mp3's (versus mp4s) from that file folder. Are you burning from iTunes or using Toast? I didn't think Toast burned Playlists ... only files dragged to its window ... maybe drag the aiff files to the Toast > Audio window ... then burn from Toast. Maybe only 4 are fitting onto the CD? or got dragged to Toast ... Don't have all the facts ... maybe someone else can help.
