The only G4 to come with a single 450 MHz CPU is an "AGP Graphics". > I am loath to upgrade to OS X 10.5 With 10.4.11 you are at the end of the road for this Mac unless you waste real $$$ upgrading. I say waste because the cost of upgrading will leave you with a far less powerful Mac than buying another used or new Mac. If you're in the market, the new Mini should be coming out soon and should be a lot of "bang for the buck". Used Minis are good deals also if you have legacy PPC software and can't afford to make the Intel switch. You can use your old keyboard, mouse and display with a Mini which would give some sense of continuity. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed Low End Mac's G3-5 List, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
