OP said even the USB connection did not work, I think. That is  
usually a direct connection nothing to do with any cards... but come  
to think of it, are these usb's in these screens powered? And if the  
power is off, would that make a powered hub completely useless? Which  
points to the monitor not getting power. Could be something simple? I  
always liked it in my old car when everything did not work in the  
electrics, I knew I would find a simple thing wrong (like someone  
stole the battery, the bastards)
